Participating Country Summary

U. S. Student Fulbright grants are available in more than 155 countries worldwide. Grants are generally available in all fields of study.

For comprehensive grant information in a specific country, click on the pertinent World Region below.

Participating Country Summaries are not available for all countries listed within regional programs. The countries listed within each geographic region are those in which it is anticipated that grants will be available for the 2009-10 academic year. If the country in which you are interested does not appear, please check with IIE before filing an application.

Some country programs have been temporarily suspended in response to travel advisories issued by the United States Department of State. Inquiries about the status of a particular country should be directed to IIE/New York.
